Management has made the decision that on April 2, 2021 - that the IWGP Intercontinental Championship will no longer be defended. Killer Cross has the option and the right to face off against El Terrible for the IWGP United States Championship no later than the next Major Event (Double Or Nothing). And since Notorious is the next in line for the Championship that will no long be in use - If Killer Cross wins, he fights for the US Championship, if Killer Cross loses, Notorious will face off against El Terrible.
The IWGP Heavyweight Championship has been changed to the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship and is the official name of this belt going forward.
